Description
Old Strats don’t just look different — they feel and sound different, and a lot of that comes down to two overlooked parts: your tremolo springs and bridge saddles. This bundle tackles both at once, then finishes the job with a set of Ernie Ball strings so everything breaks in together.
RAW VINTAGE’s RVTS-1 springs aren’t just re-tempered modern stock. They were engineered by studying original 50s/60s Stratocaster springs and matching their specific tension — softer and more elastic than most current production springs, which tend to run stiff and over-tensioned. Used as a set of 4 or 5, the RVTS-1 springs deliver that heavier, fatter torque feel under the arm and more stable, settled tremolo behavior, largely thanks to differences in weight and contraction. They’re a direct drop-in for reissue Stratocasters looking to close the gap with an original.
The RVS-112 saddles solve a different vintage headache: modern replacement saddles often mix materials (like copper cores under nickel plating) with uneven hardness, which quietly shifts your tone away from what a real 50s saddle would give you. RAW VINTAGE reverse-engineered original steel saddles down to their metallurgy and replicated the exact structure, nickel-plated straight onto steel for authentic mass and resonance.
