Gauged as Custom Light (.011-.052), this set splits the difference for players who love the punch and low-end depth of light gauge strings but want a little less fight on the top strings when bending. The high strings ease up on tension while the wound strings still deliver that big, projecting bottom end acoustic players chase. D’Addario’s NY Steel—the same high-carbon core tech used in their NYXL line—keeps pitch locked in and adds real strength to the plain strings.
