We’re talking a minimum of 4x the lifespan of standard strings, which means fewer restrings and more time actually playing.
Gauge-wise, this is the extra light 010-047 set (.010, .014 plain steel; .023, .030, .039, .047 bronze wound), D’Addario’s softest touch option. That makes it a great fit for beginners still building finger strength, or for anyone who wants easy bends and a lighter feel under the fingers without giving up projection.
Inside is NY Steel — the same high-carbon core wire used in D’Addario’s NYXL line — giving these strings serious pitch stability and resistance to breakage, even at this lighter gauge.
